Destry Herds Character Profiles

INTRODUCTION:

Due to my recent interest in HARPG (Horse Art Role Playing Game), I have decided to join in the fun and create my own stable to house all of the fabulous horses that I am interested in keeping and caring for. To start, I am only listing profiles for each of the main characters (including myself) that will be running and maintaining this equestrian center. As another important note, this is a set of FICTITIOUS profiles! I will be playing the main role as Rheba (basically..this is my fairytale of what would happen if this was all real and true).

CHARACTER PROFILES:

Main Character:

Name: Rheba
Age: 20
Gender: Female
Height/Weight: 5'5" // 125 lbs.
Occupation: Destry Herds Owner/Manager
Personality: Friendly, easily distracted, hard-working,
Likes: Clydesdales, Friesians, Gypsy Vanners, Lipizzaners, Standard breds, antiques, daydreaming, and being warm.
Dislikes: The over-usage of the color pink, skinny jeans, and being cold.
Story/Biography: Born and raised an American, Rheba has known a simply easy life of freedom and rights. She lived with her parents for a large amount of her youth. She was always fascinated by horses and began her obsession with them through her drawings and stories. One year, her parents helped her achieve her new goal of learning more about horses. Taking a few horse training sessions, she learned how to differentiate each breed and see some simple signs of injuries that could occur. Finding that she didn't have much talent for horseback riding, she took a break from her interest and moved her occupation to architecture and business.
Two years later, her parents received a letter from a bank that was addressed to Rheba. The letter entailed a copy of a will and separate letter of personal interest. Rheba read the letter and discovered, to her great surprise, that she had inherited an entire equestrian center all the way in Austria. She learned that she had a very distant uncle that had become aware (through her parents) that she had taken an interest in horses. With that knowledge, he generously--and some would believe--foolishly gave her the land, his home, his horses, and his property after he died. The chance of a lifetime was opened up to her. She only had 60 days to decide whether or not she was going to accept her inheritance, otherwise it would be given to the community to uphold. Thoughts that bugged her the most were: "He barely knows me! How could he possibly think that I could take on all of that responsibility and keep his center running smoothly?" "I cannot possibly take this, surely there are more experienced people there that he should have given all of this to, like family?" "I should take it while I have the chance! All of his money, horses, land, etc. are all mine!" Her thoughts drove on and she continuously asked people for advice. She also considered the distance between her family and herself that would occur upon leaving the country. She'd be living in Austria for the rest of her life and her freedoms would become limited. The decision was hard, but she finally decided to at least try. She sent the bank a response to the will and made a deal with them about taking the property and trying out a one year trial. If she could not make a certain amount of money, discover a new breed of horse, nor keep the property in good shape, she would be forced to return to America and forfeit the inheritance to the community.
That's when her adventures began.
Appearance:
Hair: Copper Brown.  Long (down to butt) with bangs
Eyes: Brown
Body Build: Slim, un-built (meaning: muscles need some exercise).
Clothing: She tends to wear jeans the most; occasionally wearing shorts and skirts.  For tops they range from sweaters, off the shoulder tops, 3/4 sleeved shirts, and tank tops (in every season except winter).
Other: Upon coming to Austria, her welcome met her expectations. She received the cold shoulders, lack of communication, and stubborn personalities of the people who were to help her achieve her goal. Could she ever gain their trust and love?
